This is a long silk scarf, made from vintage kimono silk. Looks like a fine weave chirimen. Mandala tiedye with a nagare shibori trail. You can wear it and when you are done, hang it up as a display piece!!
Silk looks incredible backlit!! The first 8 photos, minus the photo of it in a ring, are backlit, this piece hanging in the living room.
This scarf is washable in warm water and will not run. Ironable too. Silk is surprisingly strong and durable.
